    After School

Garden Club: The April Garden Club Newsletter is out and ready for eager gardeners! Our next distribution day is April 28th. If you have a student doing in-person learn- ing, please email me and I can make sure that your child brings the newsletter home before the 28th. Our plant this month is Epazote! This herb is a favorite with cooks who enjoy the cuisine from south of the boarder. Our craft is a fun project inspired by Mexican folk art mirrors. As always, you can find a tasty recipe, word puzzle, a sto- ry read aloud, and lots of book suggestions. I would love to have people share pictures of their growing gardens. Email me at kjdilley@seattleschools.org.
