Prep Day of Service at Rainier View
Greetings Rainier View Families,
Good News! The 2022-23 school year is off to a grand start for the Rainier View community.
This August, Rainier View hosted Seneca Volunteer Group for a “Back to School Prep Day of Service” for Rainier View students, educators, and families.
A fun filled day included the following with Good Cheer and Care! Check out the images below!
- Weed and add mulch to planting beds surrounding the school’s front entrance and courtyard areas
- Crushed rock pad to place garden tool shed, assembled by volunteers
- Refresh and paint playground asphalt games (4 square, hopscotch)
- Paint a world map on the playground
- Weed the garden area’s asphalt
- Sweep playground and pick up litter around the school
- Build new 4′ x 8′ garden beds and fill with compost
We are excited to launch the 2022-23 with our August Back to School Prep efforts!
