Jogathon

That’s right we are having a jogathon here at Rainier View. Running/Jogging/Walking are great activities that require no equipment and hit three of the components of fitness that will help us maintain a healthy body and let us reach the Center for Disease Control’s recommended 30 minutes of exercise per day.
Running Time:
K/1 12:45 – 1:15
2/3 1:15 -1:45
4/5 1:45 – 2:15
Here are some of the details.
- Students will have 20 minutes to run as many laps as they can.
- We will provide water for students. They may also bring water bottles.
- Students should come prepared to run and this means comfortable clothes and shoes safe for running: No open toed shoes, no boots, no shoes with heels, please.
- Classroom that runs the most laps K-2 and 3-5 will win a few pieces of new equipment for recess from the Health and Fitness Private Collection. Extra stuff I have in the gym.
