Discounts and Benefits for Government Assistance Recipients

Discounts and Benefits for Government Assistance Recipients

Below is a list of selected benefits that recipients of government assistance may be eligible for, with a focus on places in the Seattle, Tacoma, and Olympia areas. Some resources on this list provide discounts to foster/kinship families, even if they do not receive government assistance.

We also recommend reviewing the Reduced Cost Services Guide which is a state-wide list from the WA State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). It overlaps with some of the resources on this page but it also provides information about energy assistance programs, discounts on cell service and internet, etc.
